Bold Stakes Claims Near Springpole and Grants Options near Red Lake

Bold Ventures Inc. has announced the staking of 208 single-cell claims covering 4,180 hectares for its newly named Springpole East Gold Project. The property is situated 120 kilometers east-northeast of Red Lake, Ontario, and 9 kilometers east of First Mining Gold Corp’s Springpole Gold Deposit, which hosts an indicated resource of 4.6 million ounces of gold grading 0.94 g/t and an inferred resource of 0.3 million ounces at 0.54 g/t.
The project also benefits from its proximity to the Canamer (Birch Lake East) Occurrence, located 1.3 kilometers west of the property boundary. In 2022, First Mining reported a grab sample from this occurrence yielding 15.3 g/t gold, highlighting the area’s mineral potential. “This showing, hosted in banded iron formation, aligns with magnetic anomalies mapped in the northwest portion of our property,” the company stated.
Recent exploration work in the region includes a 2022 airborne magnetic survey and prospecting programs conducted by GoldON Resources Ltd. These efforts uncovered angular boulders of altered granitic rock with gold values ranging from 191 to 1,270 ppb. Despite these findings, the area remains underexplored, presenting significant potential for systematic exploration.
In addition to the property announcement, Bold Ventures granted 2,200,000 stock options to its management, directors, consultants, and advisors. The options, expiring in five years, have an exercise price of $0.07, representing a 40% premium to the January 22, 2025, closing price of the company’s shares.
“Our suite of battery, critical, and precious metals exploration projects positions Bold Ventures to meet future demand while leveraging exploration potential,” the company emphasized. These target commodities include gold, silver, copper, nickel, and platinum group metals.
Bold Ventures continues to explore in established gold and battery metals camps in Ontario, including the Thunder Bay, Wawa, and Ring of Fire regions. The Springpole East Gold Project adds to Bold’s growing portfolio of high-potential properties in key exploration districts.
