CME 2023 Runs June 7-8 in Timmins at the McIntyre Community Centre Timmins Mayor, Michelle Boileau proclaimed Mining Week the week of June 5-10

Mayor Michelle Boileau, on behalf of the City of Timmins, proclaimed June 4 to 10 Mining Week in celebration of the hosting of the Canadian Mining Expo 2023 at the McIntyre Community Centre on June 7-8.

Representatives of Timmins Mining Industry, First Nations Partners, Mining Suppliers Timmins Chamber of Commerce, Porcupine Prospectors and Developers, and Northern College attended Mayor Boileau’s Proclamation held in the City’s Council Chambers.

“What a pleasure it was to share with the Mining Industry the announcement of this years Mining Week Proclamation," said Glenn Dredhart, President of Canadian Tradex, the company that has been hosting the Canadian Mining Expo for 30 years in Timmins.

“ We are all excited for next weeks activities. Get ready Timmins as the world of mining comes to explore what mining has to offer,”, said Dredhart.
