Dryden Gold Identifies High-Grade Gold at Hyndman Property During 2024 Summer Campaign

By Kevin Vincent
Dryden Gold Corp. is reporting promising results from its 2024 summer mapping campaign at the Hyndman Property, approximately 45 km east of the Gold Rock Camp in Northwestern Ontario. The campaign, aimed at advancing the company’s generative exploration strategy, confirmed high-grade gold mineralization on two of nine key geophysical anomalies, underscoring the district-scale potential of Dryden Gold’s extensive 70,000-hectare land package.
Key Highlights:
• Five samples returned grades above 1 g/t gold, including standout results of 34.8 g/t gold and 6.41 g/t gold.
• Gold showings were identified on two geophysical anomalies from a study conducted by Mira Geoscience.
• Five additional geophysical targets remain underexplored and are slated for future investigation.
“We are proud of the early successes at Hyndman,” said Trey Wasser, CEO of Dryden Gold. “The systematic exploration approach our team has implemented is already yielding discoveries, and the infrastructure advantages of this property—being near the Trans-Canada Highway and benefiting from recent forestry clear-cuts—offer further opportunities for advancement. Hyndman is shaping up to be a key part of our district-scale strategy, complementing our ongoing focus on expanding mineralization at Gold Rock Camp.”
Refined Geological Understanding
Dryden’s work in 2024 was guided by a 3D magnetic susceptibility inversion model created by Mira Geoscience. This model helped define high-priority targets and allowed for a detailed geological map of the Hyndman area. Key findings include:
• Gold mineralization is hosted within narrow shear zones in dioritic intrusions and associated with hydrothermal alteration.
• Mineralized zones exhibited moderate to strong quartz veining, carbonate alteration, and pyrite with or without arsenopyrite.
• The potential strain partitioning between rigid dioritic intrusions and ductile surrounding metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks may explain the gold association.
The campaign’s results support the hypothesis that shear zones and intrusive bodies play critical roles in localizing gold mineralization.
Exploration Plans for 2025
The 2025 exploration program will focus on the remaining geophysical targets at Hyndman, with efforts to map shear zones and assess the structural relationships between lithological contacts. Depending on results, Dryden Gold may plan its first drill program for the property in the fall of 2025.
“Our refined understanding of the geological framework at Hyndman is a promising step forward,” added Wasser. “The new data underscores the region’s untapped potential and strengthens our position as a leader in generative gold exploration in Northwestern Ontario.”
