Dryden Gold Receives Ontario Junior Exploration Program Grant for Gold Rock Camp

Apr 11, 2024

Dryden Gold Corp. has been approved for a CAD $200,000 grant by the Ontario government under the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP). This program supports exploration activities of Junior Explorers in Ontario, covering up to 50% of the exploration costs. The grant will support Dryden Gold's exploration program at the Gold Rock Camp. Dryden Gold is focused on sustainable exploration in Northwestern Ontario, targeting high-grade gold mineralization and employing local talent and services.

"The OJEP is a great program for Junior Explorers like us! The additional funding from the Ontario Government allows us to do more on the ground exploration which is needed to make new discoveries in Ontario. We are very appreciative of being awarded the maximum funding of $200,000 which goes towards our exploration of the Gold Rock Camp, near Dryden Ontario," said President Maura Kolb.

"Through our government's investments in exploration, we are supporting the most critical part of the supply chain and strengthening our mining industry so we can capitalize on this generational opportunity to fuel the future. Our plan, backed by strategic investments like this one, will help drive economic development, secure domestic supply chains and create jobs across the province, especially in northern and Indigenous communities," said Ontario Minister of Mines, George Pirie.
