Dynasty Gold Corp. unveils promising findings in ongoing exploration

Oct 4, 2023

Dynasty Gold Corp., has recently shared some compelling data from their 2023 Phase 1 drill program at the Thundercloud property, situated in the Archean Manitou-Stormy Lakes Greenstone belt in Ontario, specifically 47 kilometers southeast of Dryden.

The drill hole labeled DP23-04 has intersected a substantial zone of 43.5 meters with a gold grade of 5.0 grams per tonne (g/t) from a depth of 108 meters. Within this, there are intervals with even higher gold grades, such as 16.5 meters of 8.2 g/t and 12 meters of 11.0 g/t, among others. This is particularly noteworthy as it confirms that the high-grade mineralization at Pelham extends beyond the previous year’s discovery hole, DP22-03, which returned 73.5 meters of 8.42 g/t.

Ivy Chong, the President and CEO of Dynasty, expressed her enthusiasm about another high-grade hole, DP23-04, which yielded 62.5 g/t over 1.5 meters at a depth of 112.5 meters from the surface within a broader zone of 70.5 meters of 3.2 g/t. This includes high-grade intervals of 16.5 meters of 8.2 g/t and 9 meters of 14.1 g/t. The results thus far are encouraging, with most holes intersecting impressive grades within 200 meters from the surface, peaking at a high-grade of up to 246 g/t over 1.5 meters, and lengths of up to 130 meters.

The high-grade intervals in Hole DP23-04 are situated just 15 meters below and 15 meters northeast of the high-grade in the discovery hole DP22-03. This suggests a northeast trending of high-grade mineralization, which remains open in that direction. Continuity is further demonstrated by Hole DP23-01, which assayed 3 meters each of 19.34 g/t and 18.28 g/t within a broad zone of 52.8 meters of 2.67 g/t, drilled 20 meters below and about 100 meters northeast of Hole DP23-04.

The forthcoming Phase 2 drill program aims to test the extent of high-grade mineralization both laterally and vertically, exploring for possible stacked zones at depth. The potential for Thundercloud is perceived to be substantial, and the exploration is only just beginning to uncover what might lie beneath.
