Goldshore Advances Southwest Zone Drilling at Moss Gold Project

Feb 21, 2025

Goldshore Resources has reported new assay results from the ongoing 15,000-meter drill campaign at its Moss Gold Project in northwest Ontario. The current program seeks to extend near-surface mineralization (top 100–200 meters) and test for deeper resource growth outside the existing mineral resource estimate.

"We are pleased with these latest results, which demonstrate the potential for higher-grade expansion in the southwest area of the Moss deposit," said CEO Michael Henrichsen. "These intercepts are exactly what we anticipated to drive resource growth and highlight the deposit’s continued potential."

Key Drill Highlights

  • Hole MMD-24-139:

    • 20.55m of 2.58 g/t Au from 458.15m, including 14.7m of 3.52 g/t Au.

    • Multiple shallower mineralized shears, e.g., 7.8m of 1.03 g/t Au from 221.1m and 5.5m of 1.89 g/t Au from 302.5m (including 0.6m of 15.8 g/t Au).

  • Hole MMD-24-135:

    • 20.0m of 0.89 g/t Au from 81.0m, including 3.85m of 2.86 g/t Au.

    • 26.0m of 0.61 g/t Au from 107.0m, including 5.7m of 1.17 g/t Au.

  • Hole MMD-24-138:

    • 20.8m of 0.76 g/t Au from 108.8m, including 2.05m of 3.33 g/t Au.

These drilling results suggest expanding the open pit shell to a depth of roughly 500 meters, matching the Main-QES pit depth. Holes in the Southwest Zone also aim to fill data gaps in the current resource model, particularly where mineralized shear zones do not fully extend to surface.

Geological Context

Hole MMD-24-135 intersected the high-grade edge of the system before transitioning into a broader lower-grade diorite intrusion package, while MMD-24-138 encountered a mix of andesitic-dacitic volcanic rocks and narrow diorite dykes. MMD-24-139 cut multiple shallow shear zones prior to a main diorite complex with strong sericite-silica-hematite alteration, culminating in a deeper intercept of 20.55m at 2.58 g/t Au (including 14.7m at 3.52 g/t Au) roughly 150 meters below the existing pit constraint.

Next Steps

Goldshore plans to continue drilling in the Southwest Zone through 2025 to further delineate mineralization at shallow levels and assess deeper targets. Additional results from both the winter drill program and regional exploration will be released in the coming weeks.
