Goldshore starts Winter Exploration Program at Moss

Dec 9, 2024

By Kevin Vincent

Goldshore Resources has kicked off its winter exploration program at the 100% owned Moss Gold Project in Ontario, Canada. The program includes diamond drilling, sonic drilling, and ground-based geophysics, with all components now fully underway.

“We are excited to begin our winter exploration program that we expect will provide numerous catalysts to our shareholders over the coming months,” said Michael Henrichsen, Goldshore CEO. “We believe the diamond drill program will continue to demonstrate the potential to expand the Moss Deposit and that the discovery-based sonic drill and geophysical programs will define targets that will begin to daylight the true ounce potential of the Moss Gold Project.”

Expanding and Unlocking Potential

The 15,000-meter diamond drill program focuses on resource expansion within the conceptual open pit defined in the project’s current mineral resource estimate. The priority is on the top 200 meters from surface, aiming to bolster the near-surface gold resources.

Complementing this effort, the sonic drilling and geophysical surveys target exploration along 23 kilometers of structural corridors similar to those hosting the Moss Deposit. These corridors are considered highly prospective and have the potential to yield discovery-focused drill targets.

A World-Class Gold Asset

The Moss Gold Project boasts impressive credentials:

Current Resources: 1.54 million ounces of Indicated gold resources at 1.23 g/t Au and 5.20 million ounces of Inferred gold resources at 1.11 g/t Au, based on the 2024 NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate.

Size and Scale: Only 3.6 kilometers of a 35+ kilometer mineralized trend have been explored, leaving significant upside for future discoveries.

Strategic Location: The project benefits from direct access to the Trans-Canada Highway, nearby hydroelectric power, and a skilled local workforce.

To date, over $60 million has been invested in the project, with more than 80,000 meters of drilling completed by Goldshore. In total, the site has seen over 235,000 meters of drilling, emphasizing its position as one of Canada’s most promising undeveloped gold projects.
