May 26, 2023

Wajax has entered into an agreement with Goodwin International Limited, which will bring Goodwin Submersible Pumps to customers across Canada.

Goodwin is the world’s leading manufacturers of submersible pumps. Wajax will distribute the product line of Goodwin Submersible Pumps for use in many industries, including mining, manufacturing, steel making, power generation, agriculture and other industries.

Goodwin pumps are electrically or hydraulically powered. They are developed for abrasive slurry
pumping in all areas of process industry.

“We’re incredibly excited to work with Goodwin and to provide these topline products to our customers across the country,” states Mike Damen, Fluid Handling Manager, Wajax. “We’re always happy to work with highly reputable companies like Goodwin, and offer our customers a pump that can simultaneously provide versatility, power, and longevity.”

The current available offering of Goodwin pumps allows for multiple options to fit the needs of any
slurry pumping job. Customers can choose between four sizes of motor (30kW, 55kW, 90kW and
112kW), as well as five different configurations of flow/head (NZE, ANZE, HNZB, DWHH and DACT),
ensuring the perfect pump for any situation.

Along with these customization options, Goodwin offers a separate or ‘divorced wet end,’ allowing for
the wear and replacement of the pump end without effecting the integrity of the motor enclosure. These pumps wear parts that can be field replaced without opening the motor/seal enclosures, maintaining the long-term life of product and minimizing customer costs.

Wajax Corporation was founded in 1858. It is one of Canada’s longest standing and most diversified
industrial products and services providers. Wajax operates an integrated distribution system providing sales, parts, and services to a broad range of customers in diverse sectors of the Canadian economy, including construction, forestry, mining, industrial and commercial, oil sands, transportation, metal processing, government and utilities, and oil and gas.
