Metals Creek begins drilling at Tillex Copper Project east of Timmins

Metals Creek Resources Corp. has announced the start of a new diamond drilling program at its Tillex Copper Project in Currie Township, 65 km east of Timmins, Ontario. The drilling aims to better define the Tillex deposit’s structurally complex copper mineralization, particularly in down-dip and underexplored peripheral areas.
This follows strong September drill results, which included:
• 63.9 meters at 1.94% Copper (Cu) and 10.22 g/t Silver (Ag) in hole TX 24-021.
• 110 meters at 1.69% Cu and 7.05 g/t Ag in hole 24-020.
• 92.05 meters at 2.12% Cu and 12.18 g/t Ag in hole 24-022.
The Tillex deposit, originally discovered by Westmin Resources in 1973, has a historic, non-NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate of 1.338 million tonnes at 1.56% Cu (Pacifica Resources, 1990). Mineralization consists primarily of chalcopyrite with minor bornite and accessory lead, zinc, and silver. However, this resource has not been independently validated by Metals Creek and should not be relied upon.
Michael MacIsaac, P.Geo and VP Exploration, who is overseeing the drilling program, stated that results from the current phase will be released after compilation.
