Metals Creek Resources Reports Strong Copper and Silver Results from Initial Hole at Tillex Copper Project

Metals Creek Resources Corp. is pleased to announce promising results from the first hole of its recently completed diamond drilling program at the Tillex Copper Project, located 65 km east of Timmins, and 45 km from the Kidd Creek Met site.
The first hole, TX24-021, was drilled to target near-surface mineralized graphitic argillites and dacitic tuffs, aiming to upgrade areas with limited previous drilling and refine the current geological model. This hole, designed to fill a gap in the central portion of the Tillex Zone, delivered a significant intercept of 63.9 metres (38.6m to 102.5m), grading 1.94% Copper (Cu) and 10.22 grams per tonne (g/t) Silver (Ag).
“We are highly encouraged by this initial result, which enhances our confidence in the continuity of mineralization at Tillex,” said Metals Creek’s exploration team.
Included in this intercept are two higher-grade intervals:
• 3.21% Cu and 4.77 g/t Ag over 15.2m (54m to 69.2m)
• 2.58% Cu and 15.88 g/t Ag over 17.9m (83.6m to 101.5m).
An additional notable silver intercept returned 32.95 g/t Ag and 1.70% Cu over 6.0m (43m to 49m). The mineralization encountered consists of pervasive disseminated chalcopyrite, chalcopyrite stringers, and local massive chalcopyrite veins, along with galena, sphalerite, pyrite, and pyrrhotite.
The Tillex copper deposit, originally discovered by Westmin Resources Ltd. in 1973, holds a historic, non-compliant resource of 1,338,000 tonnes grading 1.56% Cu. This estimate, calculated in 1990 by Pacifica Resources Ltd., does not meet the standards of National Instrument 43-101 and has not been independently verified by Metals Creek.
Michael MacIsaac, P.Geo and VP Exploration for the Company, supervised the preparation of this release and is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Metals Creek is awaiting additional assay results from the remaining drill holes and will release those once received and compiled.
