Neotech announces drill results from Hecla-Kilmer near Otter Rapids

Neotech Metals Corp. has announced preliminary geochemical assay results from its exploratory diamond drilling program at the Hecla-Kilmer Project, located near Otter Rapids in Ontario's James Bay Lowlands.
The 2024 drilling campaign included 12 new drill holes, designed to build upon the 24 legacy holes completed by VR Resources. The program targeted three primary areas within the alkaline intrusive carbonatite complex, identified through historical magnetic and gravity surveys. These areas include the Pike Zone, where seven holes totaling 3,061 meters were drilled, the Northeast Zone with three holes totaling 1,281 meters, and the South Rim Zone, where two holes were drilled for a total of 698 meters.
Neotech reported that hole HK24-034, located approximately 300 meters south of the Pike Zone, confirmed multiple mineralized intervals containing elevated levels of niobium and rare earth elements. These intervals align with zones of alteration and mineralization initially identified by Neotech’s core logging team. The company stated that sample analysis and data compilation remain ongoing, with results from the remaining 11 drill holes to be released as they become available.
"The discovery of bedrock-surface mineralization near the Pike Zone presents significant opportunities for the Hecla-Kilmer Project," said CEO Reagan Glazier. "The strong PMREO values in HK24-034 are consistent with previous intercepts and highlight a clear path to enhancing the project's overall value."
Neotech is currently developing plans for an expansion and resource-definition drilling program, alongside preliminary metallurgical test work on the core samples from this program. Geological modeling and target refinement will continue as additional assay results are received.
