Protium Clean Energy Reports Promising Hydrogen Anomalies in Temiskaming Survey

Dec 4, 2024

Protium Clean Energy Corp. has announced successful preliminary results from satellite gas surveys over its Temiskaming Claim block and a surrounding 11,000 sq. km area centered on Lake Temiskaming and the hydrogen showings of Quebec Innovative Materials Corp. (QIMC).

“We are thrilled with the initial results and the outstanding work conducted by Aster Funds,” said Marc Branson, CEO of Protium Clean Energy Corp. “This survey has confirmed our strategy and provided us with a significant advantage as we move forward.”

Key Findings from the Survey

1. Hydrogen and Helium Targets Identified:

• Multiple hydrogen anomalies were mapped, including a five-hydrogen anomaly and a cluster of seven smaller anomalies within Protium’s Temiskaming claim block.

• High helium abundances were recorded in Lake Temiskaming and 122 other lakes, enhancing the area’s exploration potential.

2. Geological Insights:

• Detected gases include hydrogen, helium, radon, methane, and carbon dioxide.

• Seasonal analysis helped distinguish geological hydrogen sources from biological or environmental influences.

• AI-based analysis outlined predictive hydrogen target zones aligning with QIMC’s known hydrogen anomalies.

3. Geological Context:

• Many anomalies overlay Cobalt Group rocks, supporting the area’s potential for hydrogen and helium accumulation.
