RED METAL RESOURCES EXPANDS CLEAN ENERGY PORTFOLIO WITH NEW CLAIM ACQUISITION NEAR QUEBEC HYDROGEN DISCOVERY

Oct 15, 2024

Red Metal Resources Ltd. is poised to enhance its clean energy exploration projects with the acquisition of three strategically located mineral claim blocks near Quebec Innovative Materials Corp.’s (QIMC) recent hydrogen discovery in the Timiskaming Graben region. The company has entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) with an independent vendor to secure a 100% interest in the claims, which cover over 1,100 hectares.

“We are excited to add these highly prospective mineral claim blocks to our portfolio of clean energy exploration projects and establish a land position near QIMC’s recent hydrogen discovery,” said Caitlin Jeffs, President and CEO of Red Metal Resources. “The similar geology and proximity highlight the potential for new discoveries of hydrogen. With its ideal location and infrastructure, this new property represents an exciting opportunity to expand our clean energy portfolio as we continue to advance our Carrizal Copper/Gold property in Cordillera, Chile.”

The new mineral claim blocks, situated approximately 15 km north of the town of Ville Marie, Quebec, consist of three packages directly adjacent to QIMC’s significant hydrogen sample discovery, which revealed over 1,000 ppm of hydrogen on September 4, 2024. These claims lie within the Timiskaming Graben formation and exhibit geological characteristics similar to Quebec Innovative Materials Corp.’s discovery, as well as the large hydrogen Ramsey Project discovery by Gold Hydrogen Ltd. in South Australia.

Red Metal Resources intends to initiate exploration and fieldwork that may include:

• Gas sampling from the soil (soil gas survey) and underwater surveys in Lake Timiskaming to identify degassing zones linked to fault structures in the Timiskaming rift.

• Geophysical surveys to detect deep rock structures, supported by drone surveys to gather remote sensing data for hydrogen and helium exploration.

• Fieldwork to be concentrated in the Municipality of St-Bruno-de-Guigues sector.

The company is currently reviewing available data to formulate an exploration plan for the new claims, with further details to be announced once due diligence is complete and claim applications are approved. Red Metal Resources remains committed to advancing its clean energy initiatives while continuing its work on the Carrizal Copper/Gold property in Chile.
