Sienna Resources Receives Drill Permit at Case Lake West

Feb 18, 2025

Sienna Resources has received the drill permit for its 100% owned Case Lake West Cesium and Spodumene Pegmatite Project in Ontario. The area, part of the broader Case Lake region, is considered one of North America's most promising for cesium exploration. Sienna cautions that past results or discoveries on nearby properties may not be indicative of mineralization on the company's land.

"We are very pleased to receive our drill permit," said Jason Gigliotti, President of Sienna Resources. "We want to thank the Ontario Government as well as our First Nations partners on this exciting first step toward finding a new cesium discovery. We anticipate commencing drilling shortly. Given that this project directly borders Power Metals Corp., whose shares have risen 85% in the past 12 trading days on their Case Lake deposit news, we couldn't be more excited to mobilize our team. The junior markets are showing strength, and we expect these next few weeks and months to be a watershed for Sienna as we begin our first drill program in some time."

Nearby Case Lake Highlights The adjacent Case Lake Cesium Project, owned by Power Metals Corp., is known for high-grade lithium, cesium, and tantalum mineralization, with drilling reporting up to 20.67% Cs₂O and significant tantalum grades. The shallow nature of the mineralization, coupled with multi-element potential, has positioned the deposit as a key resource. Sienna emphasizes that success on adjacent properties does not necessarily guarantee similar outcomes on Sienna’s ground.

Additional Projects Sienna continues expanding its exploration portfolio:

  • Stonesthrow Gold Project: Now covering 31,718 acres prospective for gold.

  • Case Lake West: Spans 7,850 acres, located about 100 km north of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

  • Uranium and Lithium Assets: Includes the Uranium Town Project (10,357 acres), Dragon Uranium Project (23,134 acres), and Atomic Uranium Project (55,440 acres) in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. In Nevada, Sienna holds the Elko Lithium Project and multiple Clayton Valley lithium properties.

Though near established or emerging deposits, Sienna reiterates that any potential mineralization on its properties remains speculative until confirmed by exploration.
