Louvem 117

Oct 14, 2014
Brief history:
This property was acquired as a result of an agreement between Louvem and Manitou-Barvue Mines Limited that was signed in 1976. In 1994, Louvem acquired 100% of the property. On June 30, 2010, Richmont became the 100% owner of the Louvem 117 property, following the Company’s acquisition of the outstanding 30% of Louvem shares not previously owned by Richmont.

The claims associated with this property are located just to the west of the old Wrigthbar Gold Mine. Approximately 20 diamond drill holes have been completed on the property over the years. However, a compilation of all the geological data obtained via this drilling has yet to be done. Richmont is planning to complete a geophysical survey of this property before the end of 2010.

Geological characteristics:
The property is located in the southern part of the Bourlamaque Batholith which is the host of Beaufor, Ferderber, Dumont and Lac Herbin gold deposits.
