AutoCAD Plant 3D Introduction

Course Description

Users will gain skills that are important to create specification-driven design using the standard parts catalog to streamline the placement of piping, equipment, and support structures. They will also learn to create new model files, linking to P&ID’s and catalogues. Also covered is creating Isometrics and Orthographic drawings.

Course Description

In this course you will learn how to setup AutoCAD Plant 3D to match your company standard. Students will learn how the AutoCAD Plant 3D configuration can be adjusted to fit the needs of the users. Also the course will show how to use the spec and catalog editor to setup their own specs and catalogs and how to copy and modify components.

Course Description

This course will teach the essential features of AutoCAD P&ID, including how to create P&IDs by placing equipment, connecting equipment with pipelines, and adding valves, reducers and pipe fittings. After creating the P&ID, the generation of reports and extracting data are covered.

Navisworks for Plant Design

Course Description

This course is specifically tailored for users wanting to use Navisworks to optimize their plant design layout by learning how to use powerful viewing, coordination and presentation tool within the product. Instructors will provide practical real world examples that will demonstrate and illustrate various essential topics. The primary objective of this course is to instruct students on how to combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene enabling cost effective model reviews. Learn how to create 4D construction simulations with TimeLiner, use Animator and Scripter to create interactive animations. Presenter tools will allow you to create photorealistic renderings. Use Clash Detective to coordinate interferences between multiple objects and files.
