Behr Hella Service Celebrates 10 Years

Schwäbisch Hall, October 22, 2015. The joint venture of Behr Hella Service was set up in November 2005 and from the outset made it its aim to serve the global independent aftermarket in the business of vehicle air conditioning and engine cooling parts. Today this joint venture can look back on ten successful years. "Behr Hella Service is the best kind of living proof that one and one can add up to more than just two," explains Managing Director Gerwin Vilain. "The chiming together of Behr's OE product expertise and HELLA's worldwide sales organization has meant that two powerful and technologically leading partners have successfully united their fields of competence." The product range of the Behr Hella Service joint venture currently encompasses more than 7,000 articles for vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling. And these products are all ideally suited for use in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and also in transporters and agricultural and construction vehicles. During the last few years, the range has been extended in quite specific directions with a particular focus being placed on intercoolers and on cooling fans and condenser fans. The new arrivals on the Behr Hella Service scene include water pumps and water pump kits and also the range of products for agricultural and construction vehicles. And when it comes to coolant radiators, air-conditioning compressors and condensers, Behr Hella Service now covers the needs of around 80 percent of the passenger car market in Western Europe. Since its founding this joint venture has successfully established itself on the international aftermarket and consequently can be found operating in all the important commercial regions around the globe - Europe, Asia Pacific, North and South America and also in South Africa.
