Judy Baker
CEO, Director
Judy Baker, former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from May 2015 until January 2019, has agreed to serve as a director and Chief Executive Officer of Argo Gold. Ms. Baker has 25 years of experience in capital markets including equity analysis, restructuring, fund management, and mineral exploration and mining company activity. Judy Baker was also the founder of Superior Copper and Canada Lithium. Ms. Baker holds an Honours B.Sc. Geological Engineering in Mineral Resources Exploration from Queen’s University (1990) and an M.B.A. from Ivey Business School (1995).
George Langdon, B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD (Geology)
Director
George S. Langdon is a petroleum geologist with over 30 years experience in the old and gas industry. He holds a doctorate in Earth Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland. In the last 20 years he has been involved as a technical consultant and investor in building several junior public resource exploration companies, and was co-founder and President of Shoal Point Energy Ltd. from 2007 to 2013, as well as a director of Gulf Shores Resources from 2000 to 2016, and Contact Exploration from 2001 to 2008. He currently is also a Director of Relay Medical Corp., a medical diagnostics development company.
Bryan Wilson, B.Sc.
Director
Bryan Wilson has worked in the mining industry for over 30 years in geological and financial analyst positions. He has held senior management and executive positions in resource exploration and mining companies. Mr. Wilson was Chief Executive Officer and President of St. Genevieve Resources and Gee Ten Ventures Inc., and Director of Spider Resources. His previous financial roles include being a Mining Analyst for C.M Oliver and Dominick & Dominick Securities Inc., and as a corporate Finance Specialist for Thames Capital. Mr. Wilson is currently the Director Exploration Business Development of Centerra Gold Corp., and a Director of Doubleview Capital Corp. and Colorado Resources Ltd.
Michael Farrant
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Farrant currently serves as President and CFO of New Break Resources Ltd., a private mineral exploration company exploring for gold in Timmins, Ontario and as an independent director of Talisker Gold Corp. Mr. Farrant has over 23 years’ experience in the gold mining industry, including President and CEO of Sierra Minerals Inc., a former TSX-listed Mexican gold producer, CFO of junior gold producers, VP Treasurer and Operations Controller of Kinross Gold Corporation and Corporate Controller of Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Farrant was co-founder, President and CEO of Commonwealth Silver and Gold Mining Inc., sold to Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. in 2015. Mr. Farrant received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University in 1992 and earned his CA in 1995 with Coopers & Lybrand.
David McDonald
Controller
Mr. McDonald currently serves as the CFO of McLaren Resources Inc. and CFO and director of Talisker Gold Corp., having over 13 years’ experience in the gold mining industry. Mr. McDonald spent several years working in public accounting until joining a junior mining team in 2006. Since that time Mr. McDonald has been CFO of a number of public and private junior mining companies. Mr. McDonald received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Laurentian University in 1982 and earned his CA in 1991 with Ernst & Young.
