Apr 18, 2013

We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our new global headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 18th, 2013.

“The new flagship lab is over twice the size of our current combined facilities,” explains President George Cartwright. “It will operate using the highest environmental and safety standards to ensure it is a superb workplace for our employees. We’re very pleased to say this is one of the best equipped mineral testing facilities and possibly the largest multi-element geochemistry lab in the world”.

The current market requirements in the exploration and mining sector has increased demand for quality analysis in a timely manner and labs are growing in order to keep pace with global demand. “We planned this expansion quite some time ago in order to maintain our position as an industry leader and to ensure our high standards of service to customers around the world well into the future,” states Cartwright. ‘We’re very proud to be able to offer this level of excellence right here in Vancouver”.

Beginning in 1971 as a family operated private business, AcmeLabs has grown to become recognized as one of the world’s leading geochemical and assaying laboratories. This expansion and upgrading is part of AcmeLabs’ ongoing commitment to continuous innovation and unparalleled global customer service. In 2012, AcmeLabs became part of the Bureau Veritas group of companies (headquartered in Paris, France) providing Testing, Inspection and Certification services worldwide.
