Nordex Explosives Ltd. has been involved in the manufacture and distribution of explosive products since 1971. We are situated in a strategic geographic location to service the "heart" of the mining industry in Canada. The main production facility is located outside of Kirkland Lake with our head office located in Mississauga.

Nordex is an industry leader in the manufacture of explosive products and over the last several years has introduced new products and services which have contributed to increased sales and profitability. In addition to servicing the mining industry, Nordex supplies explosive products to the quarry and construction industries. Nordex produces high quality explosive products for our own clients, as well as, other explosive distributors and manufacturers. Our market share continues to increase along with our corporate image as a major participant in the North American explosives industry.

Nordex manufactures a full line of emulsions, ANFO and specialty products. As a local manufacturer of bulk and packaged emulsions, we are able to provide a superior product and competitive pricing to our clients.

Nordex also provides a complete line of initiation systems including electric, non-electric and electronic detonators, boosters, lead wire and detonating cord.

One of Nordex's core competencies is our superior customer service. Nordex manages and owns our own trucks, which results in an exceptional delivery service for our customers. Our trucks can deliver packaged or bulk product. Nordex requires less than 48 hours from the time the client places the order to the delivery of the product to the client. In fact, with most cases we can provide turnaround time of less than 4 hours to meet any emergency needs. As well as excellent delivery service, Nordex also offers superior technical support and training on all our products.
