Cementation is an underground mine contracting and engineering company, providing mine development and production services for Clients throughout the world. We are focused on safety and committed to our ultimate goal of zero harm within our operations.

In 1914 Albert Francois patented the Cementation Process which today the mining industry knows as grouting. In 1919 the Cementation Company was formed to introduce and apply grouting techniques within the mining industry and the rest is history. Since 1919 the Cementation group has worked on projects around the world, applying innovative solutions to technically challenging projects. Today we still embrace the innovative spirit which was the origin of the company.

Cementation is currently engaged in the grouting program as well as long hole drilling and development of ore headings at the Hope Bay Project, which is located in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut.
In coordination with other crew members the Millwright is responsible for performing mechanical repairs and routine planned maintenance on a variety of fixed plan installations.
The Lead Electrician will be expected to work on the tools to complete the installation and commissioning of conveyor belts, including the services and utilities required for the conveyors, including, but not limited to services (power, fire suppression, controls, etc) required for the conveyors.
In coordination with other crew members the Hoist Operator follows job procedures and regulations to perform the assigned tasks.
The Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanical Leader is expected to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as required to surface and underground, mobile and stationary equipment.
