- Provides leadership and guidance to subordinates.

- Keeps current on information and technology affecting functional area to increase innovation and ensure Branch compliance. Works closely with peers to share information, best practices, and wins related to efficiency gains, cost management and safety improvements.

- Position requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of mining equipment.
- Requires journeyperson certification in a mechanical trade or equivalent remanufacturing experience.
- Minimum 5 – 7 + years’ experience in a relevant role along with a minimum of 2 years previous experience at a supervisory level is preferred (within a heavy equipment dealership environment).
- Strong ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct detailed phases of remanufacturing functions including the performance of the same.
- Ability to positively affect SMS KPI’s; cost control, efficiency gains, safety, revenue, warranty recovery, productivity.
- Capable to conduct independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of remanufacturing “best practices”.
- Also requires knowledge of trade certification administrative process, and OH&S acts and regulations.
Reporting to the Production Manager, Reman; this position develops, organizes, directs and supervises the Hydraulic Remanufacturing & production Support Services for Reman.
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the yard clerk is responsible of the machinery movement.
