Account Manager - Wireless Infrastructure & Mobility

Job Summary: Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities as well as manage and grow existing base of customers.
 
 
Duties
 
• Establish new accounts by surveying business conditions and opportunities; identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales-call schedule; setting appointments with potential customers.
• Provide product, service, technical and engineering information to the customer
• Meet sales objectives by maintaining customer lists; discussing progress with Sales Manager; identifying obstacles in closing agreements; developing solutions to improve closing ratio.
• Execute a targeted plan of action to develop new account base through industry research and cold calling.
• Service existing accounts by gaining in-depth knowledge of their business. Learn about upcoming projects and new innovative technology they are investigating.
• Create and present professional sales proposals.
• Resolve issues by providing alternate product/solutions.
• Report on sales and opportunities daily through companies CRM tool and Sales Funnel.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reviewing publications and establishing personal networks within the industry.


Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years experience in sales or direct customer marketing
• 3+ years experience in Wireless mobility, Infrastructure products, or related industries.
• Prior experience at an OEM vendor, telecom general contractor, or distribution company preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of Service Provider and General Contractor procurement processes
• Organized, Independent, Aggressive, Customer Focused with an emphasis on and an ability to develop accounts into long term strategic customers.
• Ability to work independently, track/report progress, and communicate openly
• Motivation for Sales, Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Professionalism, Internal Communications, Listening, Communication Processes
• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral
Negotiation Skills
• Organized, detail oriented and effective time management
• Aggressive, competitive and committed.
• Computer Skills including Windows (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• College Degree/Post-secondary education.
• Compensation includes; base salary, a commission structure that rewards performance and a benefits package.
