KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Visit current and prospective customers for 2 ½ days each week to expand business within a safety and industrial account base in order to meet targeted sales budgets
  • Promote products and services to customers through making professional account presentations
  • Manage territory and customer records
  • Produce weekly call reports
  • Build and maintain strong customer relations by providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Communicate regularly with branch staff in order to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain a high level of relevant product knowledge
  • Work for 2 ½ days each week as an Inside Sales and Service Representative
  • Provide service to the customers in the sales territory and all other branch customers
 
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Diversified knowledge of products developed through relevant post secondary education and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a industrial/safety business
  • Previous customer service/inside sales experience is required (previous outside sales experience is desired)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and territory effectively
  • Superiorinterpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships and continually strive for improved customer service
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of the selling process
  • Demonstrated team player attitude
