- Perform and/or assist with heavy duty conveyor belt installation & vulcanization
- Increase the overall productivity of the branch by eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities
- Maintain excellent customer relations; call on existing accounts in assigned territory, identify, and call on new accounts in assigned territory
- Generate and pursue sales leads within assigned territory
- Meet with client to provide on-site technical assessments
- Ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures
- Oversee proper tracking of all inventory
- Work in warehouse as directed when outside service work is unavailable
- Accurately complete appropriate paperwork
- Drive a company service vehicle
- Work on-call hours, evening & weekends
- Travel required, including occasional international travel
- Some occasional overnight travel will be required
- This position will require you to be reachable by phone evenings & weekends
- General mechanical aptitude
- Experience in heavy duty conveyor belt splicing is an absolute requirement to apply for this position
- A commitment to professionalism is a must
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- An interest in learning about sales and territory management
- Experience working outdoors (cold, heat, noise) in a physically demanding role
- Forklift operation experience
- Valid Ontario Drivers License and clean abstract
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another person

The Fabrication/Warehouse Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks within and possibly outside the warehouse.
The individual will be responsible for scheduling regular maintenance for various facility systems, overseeing the continues improvement of the maintenance process and executing long-term preventative maintenance plan.
The Order Desk plays a major role as a link between the customer and AFM Industries.

As our newest apprentice, you will work directly with our lead technicians at customer sites, learning the trade and the skills necessary for you to become a lead tech yourself.
As our branch Manager, you will lead other branch technicians to perform service works at customer sites, which includes but not limited to installation and vulcanization of conveyor belts, lagging of pulleys, installation of repair fasters and so on.
