- a two-year Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) diploma from a Transport Canada approved college Aviation Maintenance program or
- a certificate of successful completion or proof of current enrollment in an approved AME training correspondence course
- experience or education in Avionics and /or Aircraft Structural Repair considered an asset
- ability to work well in a team environment
- a valid driver’s license
- documented experience associated with maintenance activity related to transportation equipment or engine/motive power applications considered an asset
- experience maintaining single and multi-engine piston powered light aircraft considered an asset
- completion of a Transport Canada approved “Human Factors in Maintenance” initial training course (usually provided in a college aviation diploma program) considered an asset
