We have immediate openings for various positions. You could be involved in:
 
  • Routine laboratory functions such as preparing samples for analysis, and lab maintenance;
  • Preparing reagents, standards and restocking laboratory consumables;
  • Operate basic laboratory equipment while maintaining records and documentation;
  • Learning and using industry leading procedures and processes in analytical testing;
  • Working in a safety culture that values and prioritizes your wellbeing;
  • Challenging yourself to meet quick turnaround commitments.
 
Requirements
 
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data using a computer;
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs at various times throughout the shift;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or production environment an asset;

Login/Shipping Support

The successful applicant will be responsible for all sample login activities at the laboratory, with other activities related to sample pickup and handling, including shipping/receiving and occasionally filling in as sample pickup driver. 

Account Manager

The successful candidate will work as part of the Burnaby Client Services Team to provide excellent customer service to ALS’ clients and work in a safe manner in accordance with the ALS Health and Safety Program.

The overall responsibility of the laboratory analyst includes independently conducts routine and non-routine analyses of geological samples.

Machine Learning Engineer

Working as an integral part of the Technology Solutions team, the Machine Learning Engineer develops and implements strategic solutions that support key business processes for the global Geochemistry business.

General Labourer - Entry Level Technician (Fire Assay)

Work Order Entry
  • Ensures that work orders are entered accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Maintains close liaison with supervisors and other lab staff to ensure the smooth delivery of our services to clients;
  • Identifies and resolves internal and external problems when they arise
General Labourer (Entry Level Technician)

Laboratory Analyst

The overall responsibility of the laboratory analyst includes independently conducts routine and non-routine analyses of geological samples.

General Assistant

This position is primarily responsible for sample disposal, sample container recycling, and support general facility maintenance and improvements (e.g. shelf building).
