- Support the Metallurgical technicians through knowledge transfer allowing for process optimization;
- Maintain the Metallurgical laboratory for various bench top testing protocols to better understand circuit opportunities including reagent consumption and recovery optimization;
- Maintain Reagent testing to challenge suppliers for best case product performance and cost.
- Essential support of the Mill operating group to maintain high process standards allowing for stable processes and sustained parameter set points with minimal variance;
- Manage educational protocols to be extended to operations group personnel relating to process performance enhancement and risks.
- Manage various projects to ensure processes are engineered to meet business needs through optimal design and cost management;
- Support the Metallurgical group in efforts to seek innovative measures to improve existing processes.
Analytical laboratory:
- Support remote laboratory work to ensure that management practices are in line with service expectations;
- Ensure QAQC standards are maintained through alignment with Mine Technical Services group and CALA certification protocols;
- Ensure effective management of the Metallurgical team to continue the support to operations and process needs.
- Mineral Processing Degree.
- Minimum 5 years in supervisory position. International experience would be an asset, preferably South American location.
- Excellent English, written and oral. Dutch would be an asset.
- Computer skill sets are seen as a requirement with process control exposure seen as an asset.
- Comprehension of basic cost statements and budget preparation.
- Preparation and submission of technical reports.
- Previous experience and knowledge of:
- Metallurgical processes and process control;
- ISO 14001 – Environmental management;
- Health and Safety management.
- Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
- Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions.
To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.
To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities.
The purpose of the Mine Road Supervisor is to ensure all site service roads are maintained year round.
The purpose of the Supervisor Mine is to supervise the mine crew and ensure production targets and schedules are met as forecast.
The Senior Mining Engineer takes part in the development of economic studies of mining projects (approach, prefeasibility, feasibility).
To ensure optimization of the Mill process is maintained through effective management and technical support to the Operations group as well as external support groups including Mine Technical Services and Mine Operations.
As a member of the Global Supply Chain (GSC), the analyst will utilize your abilities to provide actionable recommendations to the leaders of the organization.
This position is responsible to manage all maintenance activities including; safety, execution, personnel, budget, planning and continuous improvement.
