- Competency in Basic Mill Common Core & Alignment to Mill Classification Guideline (KLG Mill Operations Training Classification Guideline)
- Maintain records of the receipt and analysis of the samples, standards and reference material.
- Weigh, measure, record and mix samples
- Responsible Quality Assurance (QA)
- Crush and pulverize ore samples to the consistency required (-10 mesh). This is our Standard Operating Procedure
- Perform routine inspections on machines and equipment to determine if any maintenance is required
- Report if any maintenance is required on equipment
- Keeping work areas clean to maintain a safe clean working environment
- Prioritize work and multi-tasking while following Standard Operating Procedures, working safely and lead by example
- Any additional duties that is necessary to operate in a safe manner while producing high quality results
- Will assume the role of an Assayer 2 in their absence once signed off
- One year (1) year of experience to be considered competent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Aptitude for prioritization of repetitive tasks (efficiency)

The Core Technician will be responsible to support the Geology departments by processing and sampling/cutting of diamond drill core.
The Assayer 1 processes Mine Production and Exploration samples for grade control providing vital information in a timely method to assist in key decision making relating to mining/geology activity and reconciling samples entering and exiting the Mill Process.
The Mine Planner/EIT will be responsible for mine planning within the 3 - 6 month planning interval.
