Autoclave Maintenance Planner

Position Description:
Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the Goldstrike Autoclave Maintenance team. The Planner will develop and utilize Standard Job Plans (SJPs) for routine maintenance activities per corporate standards. Continually review, seek feedback and optimize resources, parts, tooling, task list, safety information, risk assessment and staging approach related to SJPs. .
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that routine maintenance SJPs, safety information, drawings and Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities are uploaded and maintained in Oracle and Xeras
- Review and approve invoices for payment
- Liaise with the supply chain to expedite parts and contactor labor
- Provide quality work to the Maintenance Schedulers, seek detailed work completion information and resolve any issues as necessary
- Update and maintain status of work orders in Oracle
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of maintenance planning in mining, industrial or construction experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Previous experience in Maintenance Planning using a computerized Maintenance Planning Systems preferably using, Oracle, Xeras (or similar Zero-based budgeting tool, Viziya (or similar maintenance scheduling tool) preferred
- Experience in maintaining mineral processing equipment preferably: pumps, piping systems, and high pressure vessels preferred
- Ability to work from blueprints and drawings preferred
- Excellent safety and attendance record required
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job required
- Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

About Nevada Gold Mines
Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation (61.5%) and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation (38.5%), combining their significant assets across Nevada to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world and realize the full potential of these mines through synergies and best-in-class operational improvements.
The massive mining operation comprises 8 mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities that produced an estimated 4 million ounces of gold in 2018.
