The Role

 

PJS is always on the lookout for an experienced Installation Technician, responsible for leading a crew of installers on complex commercial and institutional A/V installations. The successful candidate must have an extensive understanding of commercial A/V technologies and installation practices. To be considered for this role, you must have the skills and experience to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

· A minimum of three years demonstrated success in a similar A/V technician role.

· Experience with Extron, Crestron, Biamp, AMX, Cisco/Tandberg and other major brands a definite asset

· Programming experience not necessary but an understanding of control system protocols is essential

· Must have demonstrated experience leading and growing crews of junior installers

· Must have demonstrated experience with all appropriate tools and test equipment

· Must have demonstrated experience with all appropriate installation practices and health/safety procedures

· Must have exceptional communications and time management skills

· Must have a valid BC driver’s license

· Must be willing to travel for out-of-town jobs
