As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the store in the absence of the manager.
You will help shape the lives of our customers. Whether they choose a color to paint a new room for their new parents, complete a paint order for the new retirement home to help their residents feel more at home or help the newlyweds choose the color that would come best complete their furniture during their first visit. together, you will mark the lives of people every day!
Additional responsibilities for this role include:
- Dealing with the opening and closing of the branch
- Manager of your caisse and the daily deposits of the branch
- Manage inventory well and make sure you have the full range of products you need
- Order at the warehouse
- Advise and serve customers
- See the general cleanliness of the store
- Responsible for the employees of his shop (in the absence of the store manager)
- Perform other tasks as requested by the store manager
Additional requirements for this role include:
- Must have a high school diploma (DES)
- Ability to work flexible hours with varied schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must speak French fluently
- Experience in retail and commercial sales is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds rarely and 40 - 60 pounds regularly
- Mastery of computer applications and Internet
