CNC Machine Operator - Off Shifts

• Machine Operations: operate CNC machines for turning hubs and spindles for automotive axles – Check specs, load/unload production lines
• Utilizes measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.).
• Performs 100% manual inspection of parts.
• Inspect parts produced to ensure they meet specification, using basic inspection equipment.
• Make necessary offsets.
• Change/adjust production tooling.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants,
• Comply with ISO requirements, safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - perform 5S cleaning responsibilities
• Reads job instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

• Any experience operating a CNC lathe and or machining center - including responsible for loading parts, inspecting parts, changing offsets and tooling.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.  FAST LEARNER, ABLE TO BE TRAINED.
• Must be able to read and interpret piece part drawings and make decisions regarding part quality and offset changes.
• Experience in machining and using measuring tools such as drop indicators, dial bore gauges, plug gauges, fixture related pin gauges and calipers.
• Willing to perform light preventative maintenance on equipment during the shift.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment running multiple production lines.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 12-50 pounds consistently and during an 8-12 hour period.
• Must be able to stand for an entire 8-12 hour shift.
• Must be able to work overtime and on the weekends as required.
• Must be able to work 2nd  (3-11:00 pm)or 3rd (11pm-7:30 am) shift.
