Palfinger is seeking a motivated Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative candidate to join the team and work out of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Niagara Falls, OT. JOB SUMMARY
 
Successful candidates must have strong attention to detail, Microsoft programs, SAP experience. Experience with documentation of orders crossing the border, excel and math skills, good communication skills for expediting items and follow up skills.
 
The Customer Care/Inside Sales Representative is the primary contact for customers (Dealers) and Outside Sales Representatives regarding questions regarding our Product Line or issues such as purchase orders, pricing questions, order entry and order status and product delivery.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Managing customer inquirers via phone calls, e-mails and walk in customers regarding price and availability.
  • Administering outgoing products completing the broker document; checking customer order packages, reviewing pricing and double-checking orders.
  • Processing orders and data entry, productions flow records and internal/external communication regarding open, steady flow of information to achieve goal of seamless transfer from PO to material management, to scheduling to production assembly to inspection and final delivery.
  • Entering received customer orders ensuring all required details is present at time of order acceptance; communicating additional requirements to dealers where necessary.
  • Supply dealers with latest crane delivery status and shipping information.
  • Providing the appropriate airfreight and sea shipping quotations for dealer orders; shipping compliance certificates.
  • Investigate and resolve late and lost shipments with carriers.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Minimum two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
  • College diploma or degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal, French an asset.
  • Excellent people skills; ability to work with others as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of (or ability to comprehend) mechanical products.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows Applications; SAP experience and preferred.
  • Knowledge of cross border documentation processes; experience with smart border crossing system an asset.
