What we are looking for
 
A strong self-starter to join us in the role of Operations Administration Support in Dartmouth, NS. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Operations Administration Support role will support branch activities and provide exceptional customer service.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, receiving telephone calls, preparing customer invoices and arrange certificate packages
  • Maintain accurate records and files (manual & electronic) of all tender data including correspondence, quotations and internal input information
  • Work with existing/potential clients and internal departments to manage the clarification process during the tender evaluation period
  • Enter certificate information accurately into Cert Tracker (certificate tracking database)
  • Prepare the branch payroll, ensure timecards are updated correctly in the system and communicate with Payroll Department
  • Run ad hoc reports with Microsoft Office
 
Qualifications
 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent considered an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative/data entry position
  • Computer skills with experience in database management, SharePoint and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to prioritize a workload while working with competing priorities, tight deadlines and multiple distractions
  • Ability to work independently
