EXPLORATION LABORER SUMMER STUDENT

- Open drill core boxes arrange in order, measure core, checking then for block footage errors.
- Tag hole number and footages for each box and place core boxes in rack.
- Palletize/dump logged and sampled core boxes.
- Deliver sampled core to assay lab as required.
- Repetitive lifting of 50lbs
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times, ensure proper PPE and tools are used for all tasks.
- Take part in storing pulps and rejects as required.
- Assist geologists as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Interest in geology and mine operations.
- Good communication skills, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Self Starter with ability to manage repetitive tasks with minimal supervision.
- Safety conscious.
- Conscientious team player.
- Good organization and capacity to prioritize tasks.
