- Regular maintenance is to be performed as per manufactures guidelines
- Accurate patterns and hole depths are to be maintained
- Record number of holes and footage
- Help change and grease steels, move main air hose around, get water and fuel for drill
- Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.
- Must be able to perform drilling functions in the absence of the regular driller
- Perform various other labour related duties in the operation and maintenance of any NHR drill and blasting operations.
- Comply with appropriate areas of the HSE Management System and Dyno Nobel Americas Engineering Standards.
- Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.

- Perform drilling functions in the absence of the regular driller
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid drivers license required - Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes endorsement is an asset.
- Previous experience in a construction environment required.
- Mechanical and hydraulic experience is an asset
- Knowledge and skill of drill operations and maintenance
- Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in written and verbally
- Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
- Fall arrest certification is an asset.
- Ability to wear and care for applicable personal protective equipment (such as, safety glasses and shoes, respirator, hard hat and ear protection, safety harness) as required by site specific requirements.
- Ability to frequently lift 25 kg from ground to shoulder, with occasional lifting up to 75 kgs.

As the Blaster Helper, you will Operate auxiliary equipment in the maintenance of all equipment and the loading, mixing, unloading, and preparation of explosive products for the customer in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
As the Bulk Truck Operator, you will operate all types of Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to prepare and deliver company explosive products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
The Blaster will conduct surface production blasting operations within Dyno Nobel standards. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of conducting blasting operations in a safe and efficient manner.
The Underground Operator will ensure the safe and effective preparation and delivery of correct explosive product to the loading sites. You will troubleshoot and maintain all equipment types and support ongoing general site operations.
As the Labourer, you will assist operations crew on site by operating auxiliary equipment, performing basic maintenance, and assisting equipment operators and blasters at the site in order to safely serve the customer.
