- Supporting both customers and other trades people in the resolution, component repair/rebuild, haul truck/shovel repair, and equipment assembly/repair issues in the effective troubleshooting of equipment.
- Installation of new parts and equipment in accordance with generally accepted industry standards, as well as, site specific best practices.
- Performing component failure analysis to improve the operation of installed parts and equipment
- Other duties as required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and OEM drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layout
- Requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of Komatsu equipment
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong focus on providing valuable customer service
- Ability to work out of town on occasion
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Forklift training, WHMIS, and TDG training certification is an asset
