What you will do:
• Handling and communication of applicable government regulations; participates in maintaining branch compliance
• Provides guidance and acts as a resource for leadership/management, the Joint Health & Safety Committee and all Univar employees in order to understand their roles and responsibilities in Univar’s safety culture
• Guides, directs, and participates in all aspects of EHS risk assessment and in Univar’s certifications (ISO Standards, Agricultural Warehousing Standards, etc.)
• Responsible for the local emergency response plans and is the regional Technical Advisor for the national Univar Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP) Team and as such is on call 24/7
• Handles and communicates Univar EHS Policy and procedures, provides guidance, auditing for compliance, and aids with corrective actions
• Resource and guidance for incident investigation. Part of the incident management, reporting and tracking process
• EHS resource for product approval process of products stored and handled in the facility, and approvals of suppliers and contractors used by the facility
• Conducts EHS training as appropriate (New Hire Orientation, TDG, WHMIS, etc.)
• Reports trends and opportunities to branch/corporate EHS management
• Support to regional management in setting and attaining EHS goals
• Aids in regional implementation of national EHS programs

What you will require:
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Safety Management
• Must be a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) (or actively working towards certification)
• Knowledge of regulations such as Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Workplace Hazardous Information Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety
• Experience in the Agriculture industry and high level of people skills
• Bilingual (English/French) written and oral communication skills would be an asset
• Five (5) years direct experience in EHS required
• Ability to understand the implications on our business from decisions and actions taken

Inventory Coordinator

Monitors and updates inventory records including: records changes in inventory (purchases, sales), reviews invoices and inventory reports, monitors and records stock transfers, and produces inventory reports as required 

Warehouse Operator – Night Shift
