Summary: The person in this position is primarily responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Environmental Health and Safety Management System at the Goderich Mine. This individual will be required to meet objectives outlined by senior management.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Establish and manage the Environmental Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS)
  • Develop and execute short and long-term strategic plans for the Environmental Health and Safety Management System
  • Develop, Coach and Mentor leaders, supervisors and employees on the EHSMS
  • Conduct internal audits for all aspects of the EHSMS to ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements
  • Continually improve and execute the Document Control System, Risk Management Program and the EHSMS

Computer Skills - Complete proficiency in Microsoft Office programs as required, Document Control Management systems
 
Communication Skills - Writes clearly and informatively.  Varies writing style to meet business needs, Able to read and interpret written information. Ability to write detailed reports, policies, procedures or other EHS System elements. Ability to speak effectively before management.
 
Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and assemble into an effective presentation format. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The person in this position is primarily responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Environmental Health and Safety Management System at the Goderich Mine.

Accountant Operations

Responsibilities encompass operations, capital and financial reporting including variance analysis. 

Mine Supervisor

Following the mine plan, the Mining Supervisor is accountable for the safe, efficient and quality of work performed by the Mining Team.
