Radio Technician(s)
Terms of Employment: Fixed contract with aim of being permanent.
Salary: To be negotiated
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Sudbury and Area, Ontario
Skill Requirements:
Education: Minimum 2/3 year Electronic Technologist/Electronic Engineering Diploma and related work experience with two way communication devices.
Experience: Experience an asset.
Languages: English, French bilingual an asset.
Specific Skills for role: The successful candidate will possess knowledge of electronics, radio transmitter and receiver theory in order to diagnose and resolve a large variety of equipment problems. Duties will include the diagnosis, repair, modification, installation and design of a wide variety of electronic equipment. A proven self-starter with excellent customer service skills is essential. Additional skills include data collection platforms, radio communication systems and microprocessors.
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, willing to travel, valid drivers license, work related travel expenses paid by employer.
