Portable Services Driver

Responsible for the pickup and delivery of portable toilets to from customer industrial and commercial sites. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on toilet delivery and hauling of industrial roll-off routes. This physically strenuous position involves mounting and dismounting a 10 ton vehicle numerous times each day.
 
Job Duties
 
  • Satisfy customer needs for service. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.
  • Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections.
  • Complete an assigned daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager.
  • Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, servicing multiple Portable Toilets, Delivery and Removal, as well Disposal of Gray Water.
  • Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.
  • Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal waste water facilities.
  • May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
 
Qualifications
 
  • 1-2 years driving experience in a transportation sector. (Minimum for insurability).
  • Commercial Driver’s license – Minimum class 5 with Airbrakes
  • Heavy lift is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Knowledge of the city.
  • Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of industry an asset.

GFL Environmental is looking for a Labourer to support our Liquid lines of business out of our Timmins, ON site. The Labourer will be primarily responsible for assisting with general labour activities.

Specialized Services Technicain

The Technician will be working alongside a team of highly trained individuals who handle the company’s most dynamic projects.
