Golder has a new opportunity for a Word Processor to join our Mining Business Operations team on a full-time basis based in Sudbury, ON.
 
An overview of your role will include: 
 
  • Editing and formatting of letters, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, and other documents
  • Using Adobe Professional to create and compile PDF documents from MS Office applications
  • Assembly, copying, and transmitting of documents
  • Opening opportunity, proposal and project numbers using Oracle CX
  • General assistance to other Administrative Assistants as required
 
You will have a background in:
 
  • 0-2 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
  • Graduate of business administration diploma preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn and implement systems
  • Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up)
  • Good communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing)
  • Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions
  • Knowledge of engineering consulting and/or related industries would be an asset
