Arodo Mechanic Operator

- Operates, maintains and controls the Arodo and Palletizer in the manufacturing process
- Performs mechanical repairs and PM on Arodo and Palletizer
- Makes sure to read and follow daily production schedule and instructions
- Prepares packaging materials by retrieving items from storage, applying labels to the containers, setting up and loading filling machines, operating scales and printing devices.
- Maintains the quality and the correct weight of the bags produced
- Performs Durometer tests on bags for hardness and vacuum
- Must be able to trouble shoot
- Maintains high efficiency
- Drives a fork lift/Raymond in accordance with all legislation
- Reports any production related problem to the Supervisor
- Makes sure that his workplace is clean
- On a day to day basis, ensures that he meets hygiene, safety and sanitary conditions; complies to health and safety government rules and regulations (with particular attention to article 27(1) and (2) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments) as well as environmental ones; that permanent and appropriate corrective measures be taken immediately. Wears required equipment and personal protective equipment

- High School Degree and 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry
- Must read and understand English; understands kilos and pounds
- Good mathematical abilities. The candidate will have to succeed at a mathematic exam
- Mechanic skills (The candidate will have to succeed a mechanical aptitude test)
- Good computer skills
- Capacity to lift 50 pounds many times a day and to stand up for long periods of time
- Certified fork lift operator
- Leadership, skills in decision making, skills in solving problems
