Engineering Sales Representative

- Represents the company to consultants, engineers, architects, construction professionals, suppliers, laboratories etc.
- Informs and educates clients and proposes specifications to appear in civil, commercial and industrial construction projects
- Develops new relationships and solidifies existing ones with professionals to ensure that MAPEI products appear in specifications according to the objectives assigned
- Develops and manages a territory, including the sales budget attached according to the company’s objectives
- Conducts special presentations of our current products and launches new products
- Gives training on our products, communicates and answers customer technical questions in order to influence their purchases
- Works closely with our CRS specialists (sales, technical services) and communicates with CRS product line manager
- Drives project development through follow up activities that are performed on a regular basis.
- Reviews sales and activities of development in his territory and reports to management.
- Does any other related tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar field, experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and environment or experience in the applying of concrete products
- Good knowledge of our industry and our products
- Good knowledge of quality standards
- Has the ability to conduct product trainings at a professional level
- Valid driver’s license
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook is a must
