HAUL TRUCK OPERATOR

- Safely and effectively operate large capacity haul truck, taking into consideration weather and road conditions;
- Perform daily pre-start and post operational inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company guidelines;
- Monitor equipment operation including gauges, dials and other indicators on the haul trucks, reporting any issues to the Supervisor and/or Dispatcher;
- Communicate clearly and effectively using radio, hand signals and/or the WENCO system;
- Follow and comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures including those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act;
- Follow defined practices to assure quality, safety and housekeeping standards;
- Promote a positive health, safety and environment culture and the Internal Responsibility System.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience operating mining haul trucks with a capacity of 40 to 300 tonnes;
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to identify potential equipment issues;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace;
- Experience working at a remote work site is an asset.
