The function of the Account Representative is to secure new business revenue, protect company margin objectives and meet / exceed activity targets on a consistent basis. To accomplish this, s/he must qualify and develop new prospects by gaining access, developing needs, quoting, closing, delivering and growing opportunities through a disciplined application of the sales process while differentiating Hazmasters from the competition.
 
Detailed Description
 
  • As assigned by the Outside Sales Manager, maintain regular contact with key accounts and work on new business acquisitions.
  • Preplan for all sales calls using Tour De Force CRM, to determine the strategy for that call.
  • Set up and track appointments, activities and opportunities in TDF.
  • Work with inside sales partner and purchasing to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Attend and participate in tradeshows and other promotional events as required and approved by the Outside Sales Manager.
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activity and competitor products.
  • Identify new leads that match Hazmasters' Sales Strategy, and research those leads to gain an understanding of their business.
  • Inform the Outside Sales Manager in advance if monthly targets for activity and opportunities will not be met.
  • Prepare for, attend and participate in sales meetings.
  • Attend supplier information sessions as required per the Outside Sales Manager.
  • Be available via cell phone 24/7.
  • Provide service for emergency calls on weekends and statutory holidays as required.
 
Job Requirements
 
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a business related discipline.
  • 3 - 5 years of outside sales experience.
  • A history of success and high achievement in previous endeavors.
  • A history of success in a sales and marketing driven organization.
  • Experience in preparing annual sales forecast.
  • Proven track record of product knowledge, market trends, and industry players.
  • Safety equipment distributing experience an asset.

OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The function of the Account Representative is to secure new business revenue, protect company margin objectives and meet / exceed activity targets on a consistent basis.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

This person is responsible for accurately performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of assigned areas.

GENERAL MANAGER

This person is responsible for full operational management and P&L ownership of a Branch or multiple Branches within assigned District. This position will help lead and drive incremental profitable growth for the Branch or District.
