- Adhere to all company, client and industry-specific safety regulations
- Manual labour required to complete job tasks, including but not limited to: sweeping, shovelling, assembling and cleaning.
- Provide manual labour assistance as required.
- Ensure appropriate tools are transported to the worksite as required. Ensure proper functioning of all tools prior to utilization.
- Ensure equipment and tools are safety stored
- Safely operate basic hand and power tools including, but not limited to: skill saws, snow blowers, grinders and torque wrenches
- All other duties as required by crews
- Grade 12 Education would be considered an asset
- DZ License required, AZ preferred
- Experience working around heavy equipment would be considered an asset
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid WHMIS Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate considered an asset
- Confined Space Training considered an asset
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills and the ability to work with others.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to lift loads and equipment weighing in excess of 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
- Mechanical ability
- Good physical coordination and manual dexterity
