Align and provide leadership and guidance to all Mine General Services including; Camp Services, Kitchen, Surface Support and, Travel & Accommodations departments, to strategies and succession planning with IMAGOLD strategic objectives. To work with the senior management team in determining the overall financial strategy of the mine. To optimize and manage the allocation of resources, finances and the stewardship of company assets.
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
  • Oversee and implement General Services programs and maximize efficiency and resources.
  • Ensure all areas of responsibility meet with RGM objectives & goals.
  • Develop and execute overall strategy for Service development based on input from other departments and personnel.
  • Ensure that the onsite facilities such as Camp, Kitchen and Cleaning are maintained and operated at world class standards.
  • Ensure of the maintenance of RGM facilities with Surface Support
  • Ensure all aspects of Sustainability Activities adhere to the ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted to the SOX 404 standards.
  • Ensure seamless protocol standards are applied in Expatriate Affairs as concerning Travelling and accommodation matters.
 
Act as a member of the senior management team to develop and achieve the overall strategy and goals of the mine.
 
  • Prepares annual General Services plan and development an Improvement Plan to the current facilities (Camp, Kitchen, Building)
  • Lead and Liaise all corporate shareholders towards business to conduct with expatriates rotations and residential expatriates.
 
 
Provide leadership to the team.
 
  • Build an appropriate team through recruitment and development.
  • Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve business plans and production targets.
  • Ensure that training is provided in accordance with the current and future requirements of the mine.
  • Ensure the required manpower and equipment are in place to achieve planned production, while meeting planned costs.
  • Manage performance by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching to direct reports.
  • Promote and maintain a high performance culture with customer services mindset.
 
Qualifications
 
What we look for:
 
  • University degree in Administration or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years' camp management experience.  
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience at managerial level.
  • Solid working knowledge of Mining environment and Camp Management experience.
  • Excellent leadership and ability to manage several teams/priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
 

Junior Ground Control Engineer
  • Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
  • Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
Procurement Officer

To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions. 

Surveyor

To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.

Administrative Assistant, Mill

To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities.

Road Maintenance Supervisor, Mine Operation

The purpose of the Mine Road Supervisor is to ensure all site service roads are maintained year round. 

Supervisor, Mine

The purpose of the Supervisor Mine is to supervise the mine crew and ensure production targets and schedules are met as forecast.

Senior Engineer, Mining

The Senior Mining Engineer takes part in the development of economic studies of mining projects (approach, prefeasibility, feasibility). 

Senior Metallurgist

To ensure optimization of the Mill process is maintained through effective management and technical support to the Operations group as well as external support groups including Mine Technical Services and Mine Operations.

Bilingual Analyst, Global Supply Chain
