Coordinator, Mine Maintenance Planning

As part of the Mine Maintenance department this individual will support the planning department with the development and maintenance of Oracle Maintenance Master Data and fill in for planners during leave. This is a senior role in the Mine Maintenance department for a mechanically inclined person looking to learn and develop maintenance planning skills and start a career in the maintenance planning field. 
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
  • Supervision, guidance and coaching of the planning group 
  • Training and development of new personnel 
  • Support reliability program efforts 
  • Oversight of work management process (mobile maintenance) 
  • Quality assurance of weekly planning process and support of the execution group 
  • Facilitate development and implementation of corporate initiatives 
  • Review and analyze maintenance process adherence and effectiveness through KPI reporting 
  • Develop and maintain equipment maintenance Budgets, Cost forecasts and availability forecasts 
  • Drive cost savings and performance improvement initiatives 
  • Review and analyze equipment maintenance strategies for cost and performance 
  • Create monthly department reports MER & EOM
 
Qualifications
 
What we look for:
 
  • 5-6 years of Mine Maintenance Planning Experience 
  • Technical Diploma required 
  • Experience with budgeting OPEX & CAPEX, long term planning and forecasting is an asset 
  • Experience leading a planning team is an asset 
  • Strategic and tactical understanding of mobile equipment maintenance is required 
  • Long term vision with a focus on business and work management process is required 
  • Experience with Oracle, Oracle BI or similar EMMS is required 
 

Junior Ground Control Engineer
  • Design and supervision of construction of geotechnical and hydrological structures such as foundations, slopes, excavations, diversion ditch, and dams;
  • Investigation of ground instabilities and recommending and designing mitigation measures
Procurement Officer

To purchase materials, goods, and services for all operations, maintenance, and support functions. 

Surveyor

To provide safe and cost-effective survey services, by way of design, plans, and measurement data that communicate critical mining instructions to operators and development results to engineers.

Administrative Assistant, Mill

To provide administrative support and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the mill office and related activities.

Road Maintenance Supervisor, Mine Operation

The purpose of the Mine Road Supervisor is to ensure all site service roads are maintained year round. 

Supervisor, Mine

The purpose of the Supervisor Mine is to supervise the mine crew and ensure production targets and schedules are met as forecast.

Senior Engineer, Mining

The Senior Mining Engineer takes part in the development of economic studies of mining projects (approach, prefeasibility, feasibility). 

Senior Metallurgist

To ensure optimization of the Mill process is maintained through effective management and technical support to the Operations group as well as external support groups including Mine Technical Services and Mine Operations.
